Looking for the latest Games with Gold titles? You've come to the right place.

One of the main benefits of being an Xbox Live Gold subscriber is definitely the fact that each month you get access to a range of free games across the Xbox One and Xbox 360 platforms. If you’re an Xbox One owner, backwards compatibility means you get to take advantage of the Xbox 360 titles too.

This is a great way to try games you might not otherwise have played, whether because they're indie titles that slip under your radar or simply because you don’t have the funds to buy several games a month.

Even if you don’t have the console memory or the time to spare right now, we’d say it’s always worth claiming them every month anyway as you’ll then have free access to them for as long as you have an active Xbox Live account.

Looking for the latest free Games with Gold titles? You've come to the right pla be able to find the newest free games, as well as scroll back and see which games were featured in previous months. That way you’ll know whether it’s worth holding out for a game to appear in an upcoming Games with Gold month or if it's already been offered.

Games with Gold (April 2019)

The Technomancer – Available April 1 to 30 on Xbox One (usually $39.99, £34.99, AU$54.95)

If you've missed mid-2000s BioWare games, check out The Technomancer. The game is a relatively straightforward action RPG with copious skill trees and rich, diverse environments. It's not quite up to par with the world of Jade Empire or Mass Effect, but it's not a bad entry in the genre.

Outcast: Second Contact – Available April 16 to May 15 on Xbox One (usually $39.99, £35.99, AU$52.45)

While the original Outcast is probably best known for introducing gamers to the concept of an open-world, we have Outcast: Second Contact to thank for overhauling the graphics and bringing a level of modern polish to the game. Unfortunately, not everything was updated in the remastering, so prepare accordingly.

Star Wars Battlefront II – Available April 1 to 15 on Xbox One and Xbox 360 (usually $9.99, £8.99, AU$14.95)

One of the best split-screen multiplayer games since GoldenEye or TimeSplitters, the original, Pandemic Studios Star Wars Battlefront II was a masterpiece of its era. The game featured battles in both the prequels and original Star Wars trilogies, and added new heroes and ship combat. For a younger generation that missed the game its first go around, this is definitely worth downloading this month.

Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter 2 – Available April 16 to 31 on Xbox One and Xbox 360 (usually $19.99, £8.99, AU$9.95)

When it was released, Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter 2 (commonly referred to at the time as GRAW2) was the pinnacle of the tactical shooter genre (suck it Rainbow Six). The set pieces had the feel of a modern-day Call of Duty, and the multiplayer was some of the best of its time. A worthy replay.
